ABP" program is "Australian Bridging and Placement" program which trains the overseas nurses to adapt the Australian nursing culture. This program will be over a period of 3 to 6 months duration depending on the course provider.
Nurses who got trained Overseas, everyone are not eligible to register in Australia directly. According to the nursing regulations, they must be able to communicate well in English to work in Australia. All nursing boards in Australia require IELTS score of 7.0 band overall (Writing & Speaking 7.0 band and not less then 6.5 in Listening and Reading) or ‘B’ grade in all modules in OET exam.
We made this program in two ways depending on the applicant’s competency:
1. ABP Program (Australian Bridging and Placement Program- Bridging program for Applicant’s meeting English Language Requirements)
2. ABP with OET Program (Bridging program for Applicant’s not meeting the English Language requirements
Bridging Program for Applicant’s Meeting English Language Requirements:
Step 1: Any Overseas nurse (other then English speaking countries) with at least six months experience can enrol into our program
Step 2: After enrolment, we start the process with nursing board in Australia where the applicant want to work
Step 3: We receive decision letter in about 4 months, and we immediately organise the bridging program with the recognised Australian University or Training provider
Step4: After completing the bridging program, applicant gets the registration and can able to work in Australia as a nurse
Step5: We will organise the employer sponsored work permit with a salary range of $48,000 to $60,000
Step6: You can apply for permanent residency after one year of your employment
Bridging Program for Applicant Not Meeting English Language Requirements:
Keeping in view of all overseas nurses (especially Indian nurses, Filipino nurses, etc….) and their English competency skills, we prepared a program involving English preparation classes in Australia and the bridging program thereafter leading to registration in Australia.
